Jagsonpal Finance & Leasing Ltd. was incorporated as a Private Ltd. company on 20th February, 1991 under the Companies Act, 1956 and subsequently converted into a Public Ltd. Company by a Special Resolution at the Extra Ordinary General Meeting held on 25th July 1994 and a fresh Certificate of incorporation was issued by Registrar of Companies, National Capital Territory of Delhi and Haryana, at New Delhi on 23rd August 1994.

The Company was promoted by Late Mr. Jagmohan Singh Kochhar and Dr. Kanwarpal Singh Kochhar.

The operation of the Company are conducted under the overall supervision, control and guidance of the Board of Directors of the Company. The day to day affairs of the Company are looked after by Dr. Kanwarpal Singh Kochhar, the Managing Director of the Company who has obtained a Doctorate from the University of Georgia, U.S.A. He has experience of working in the USA and Canada, and he has got a decade of experience in the field of Finance, Leasing, Export and Pharmaceuticals.

Late Shri Jagmohan Singh Kochhar, a Pharmacist, had vast experience in the field of Finance, Pharmaceuticals, Banking, etc. Shri Jagmohan Singh Kochhar had served as a Director of several nationalized bank like State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank and Vijaya Bank.

The Company is a Non Banking Finance Company registered with Reserve Bank of India as Loan and Investment Company.
